Married, as her first husband, Angus MacDonald, 2nd of the MacDonalds
of Belfinlay (descended from the MacDonalds of Clanranald), with issue.
Penelope MacNeil, after the death of her first husband, Angus MacDoanld
of Belfinlay, married, as her second husband, Dr. John MacDonald, son of
Ranald MacDonald, 3rd of the MacDonalds of Kinlochmoidart. Dr. John
fought with his father at Sheriffmuir, and was afterwards implicated in
the affairs of the 1745 Rising, and suffered as a consequence.
Afterwards he lived at Kinlochmoidart. It does not appear that there
was any issue of Penelope''s marriage to Dr. John MacDonald.
