Roderick, …was born 1790, and studied medicine, and, owing to the
depressed conditions prevailing throughout the Highlands in the early
years of the nineteenth century, emigrated in 1820, to Canada with the
surviving members of his father''s family. It is said that he married
there and had issue, but unfortunately there is no record of any of his
family or descendants.
