became a very successful tea merchant.in Edinburgh. He married in 1851
in Glasgow (1) Margaret, daughter of Donald MacLeod, farmer in
Galtrigal, Skye, "one of the best of women, who feared the Lord from her
youth". They had issue.
Roderick married, secondly, in 1871 Jessie, daughter of William
MacKenzie, merchant in Inverness.
