Was born on 26th December 1872, and was educated at Glenalmond. He
served in the Royal Artillery Militia, and afterwards joined the
Bechuanaland Police. Later on he became a tea-planter in Ceylon. He
died, on 10th April 1945, in Sydney, New South Wales. He married, on
5th May 1906, Annie Laurie Morrison, with issue.
