Was born, on 4th October 1885, at Yannarie, Portland, Victoria, and was
educated at the Grammar School, Brighton, Victoria. He devoted himself
to pastoral pursuits at Minilya Station, Carnarvon, Western Australia, of
which he inherited a portion on his father''s death. He was Justice of the
Peace for upwards of twenty years. He died on 17th September 1955. He
married Dorothy Farrar, with issue.
