Donald Grant... was born in 1842, and was educated at Cheltenham
College, and at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he graduated L.L.B. in
1865, M.A. in 1882, and was honoured with the Doctorate of Laws in
1887. He was called to the Bar in 1865, and became a Judge at Maulmain.
He married, as his first wife, in July 1873, Julia Gordon, younger
daughter of Walter Snadden of Maulmain, with issue.
Donald Grant MacLeod''s first wife died in April 1884, and he married,
as his second wife, in November 1885, Alice May, eldest daughter of
Francis Limouzin of Maulmain, with issue.
