!CORRECTION: This relates to whom Hector WATT married. He married
Gwynydd RICHARDS not GRANTHAM. A piece of your information states
that Gwynydd was the granddaughter of Sir William GRANTHAM. This is
correct (and I am his great grandson). Sir William''s third daughter was
Gertrude Elizabeth GRANTHAM (b 1872). She married Lewis M RICHARDS,
J.P. of Glamorgan on 28 Nov 1899 and they had five children - Gwynydd
being the youngest. Gertrude died in 1946 and Lewis on 30 Nov 1918. My
source is Burke''s Landed Gentry (about 1951-52) under the entry of my
uncle, William Ivor GRANTHAM, and my own family history notes. I also
think Hector and Gwynydd were known as MacLEAN-WATT.
!NOTE: MacKinnon only gives Hector''s wife''s name as Gwynydd,
granddaughter of Sir William Grantham. He does not state whether
Gwynydd was granddaughter by a daughter or a son.
