Herman Victor Rabagliati was son of Dr. Andrea Carlo Francisco
Rabagliati, M.D. (Edinburgh), and his wife, Helen, daughter of Duncan
MacLaren, Member of Parliament, Edinburgh, and Lord Provost of
Edinburgh, and niece of the Right Honourable John Bright, Member of
Parliament, Birmingham. Dr. Andrea Carlo Francisco Rabagliati was a
son of Captain Rabagliati, who came as a political refugee to this
country [UK] on account of the Italian revolution of 1821.
