Roderick (Rev.)... was born in 1755, and educated at King''s College,
Aberdeen, which he entered as 1st bursar in 1769, and where he
graduated M.A. in 1773. He was appointed rector of St. Paul''s Episcopal
Chapel, Aberdeen, in 1782, and afterwards of St. Anne''s Episcopal Church
in Soho Square, London, where he ministered for the remainder of his
life. He became a Doctor of Divinity of King''s College, Aberdeen, in
1773, and died in 1846 at the great age of ninety-one years. He married
a sister of Admiral Sir Charles Middleton, a cadet of the Earls of
Middleton and Gainsborough, with issue.
