When his father died, there were fourteen years of the tack of
Greshornish to run, and, in 1773, when it expired, Norman received a new
tack for twenty-three years. he married, as her second husband, his
cousin, Margaret, daughter of Alexander MacLeod of the MacLeods of
Uilinish, with issue, a daughter, Nora, who married Donald Murray.
Norman MacLeod was alive in 1798, which is the last record we have of
him.
