Was born on 26th October 1823, and married, on 6th June 1845, the Rev.
Hector MacKenzie [The Rev. Hector MacKenzie was the third son of
Alexander MacKenzie, 5th of the MacKenzies of Kernsary (MacKenzie:
HISTORY OF THE MACKENZIES, 2nd edit., p. 520.)] (who was born in 1814,
and died on 9th November 1871), minister of Moy and Dalarossie,
Inverness-shire, with issue, an only son, William, who was born on 16th
February 1846 [FASTI ECCLESIAE SCOTICANAE, VI, pp. 477-8.]. He
married, with issue, and emigrated to Canada. Mrs. Margaret Jane
MacKenzie died on 23rd May 1897.
