Went to Canada in 1820, and married Duncan Cameron [MacKenzie:
HISTORY OF THE CAMERONS (1884), pp. 411-2.] (born in 1764 and died on
15th May 1848), son of Alexander Cameron, Glenmoriston, and his wife,
Margaret MacDonell. Margaret MacLeod of Hamer and Duncan Cameron
settled at Williamstown, Glengarry, where he entered the Provincial
Legislature of Upper Canada and represented Glengarry for several years.
They had issue.
