"1st daughter, Janet, married to John MacKinnon of that ilk, to whom
she had two sons, 1. Charles, now of Mackinnon. -- 2. Lauchlan.
"2. Florence, married to Roderick Macdonald of Sandaig.
"He was succeeded by his eldest son."

Accompanied by his 2nd son Dr. Murdoch Macleod, of Eyre, and Capt.
Malcolm Macleod, his nephew, joined Prince Charles Edward at the head
of a hundred of the Macleods of Raasay, kept his eldest son out of the
rising and conveyed the estates to him, m. Mary, dau. of Alexander
Mackenzie, 3rd of Applecross, by his 1st wife Anne, dau. of Alexander
Fraser, Tutor of Lovat, and had issue.
