Norman… was a Lieutenant in the 69th Regiment (Colville''s). He became
an Ensign on 19th May 1759 and was promoted Lieutenant by General the
Honorable, Charles Colville at Belle Isle. The Regiment was reduced in
1763; Lieutenant Norman now became tacksman of Grule and Brainort. It
does not appear that he was married. He died at Grule on 28th October
1797.
