Anne MacLeod... married (1) George Assiotti, Assistand or Deputy
Commissary General for North Britain. He died on the 27th November
1808 and Anne married (2) in 1810, Sir Arthur Brooks Faulkner
(1779-1856), an Irishman, who was a Physician to the Forces and saw
much active service in the Peninsular War, 1808-1814. In the
GENTLEMAN''S MAGAZINE her obituary appeared in Vol. I 1856 as follows:
"July 17th, 1856,a t Evington, near Cheltenham, Lady Brooke Faulkner."
There appears to have been no issue from this marriage.
