V. Murdoch MacKenzie of Hiltoun, who married Mary eldest daughter of
Mr. Murdoch Murchison of Auchtertyre, minister of Kintail, by whom he
had four sons and several daughters.
1. Alexander, his heir.
2. Rory, who married ____ Mackenzie, a cousin german of Redcastle''s,
and had issue.
3. Colin, married Isabel, daughter of Colin Simson chamberlain in
Ferntosh, by whom he had a son, Alexander, afterwards chamberlain of
Culloden.
4. Murdoch, married Agnes, daughter of Donald Taylor, a bailie of
Inverness, and had issue.
1st daughter, Isabel, married to Mr. Donald Macraw minister of Kintail,
&c. &c.
He was succeeded by his eldest son.
