afterwards settled in Montreal. He married, with issue, a son, Angus,
whose daughter, Annie Cecilia, married, on 13th November 1861, James
Sutherland Chisholm 27th Chief of Clan Chisholm, [MacKenzie: HISTORY
FO THE CHISHOLMS (1891), pp. 119-20.] with issue: Roderick Donald
Matheson, who succeeded his father as 28th Chief of the Chisholms, and
died, on 4th April 1887, unmarried; Mary Isabella, who died young; Louisa
Jane; and Annie Margaret.
