Angus, fourth son of Kenneth Bethune of Leabost, had a liberal and
college education. He became minister of the Scots congregation in the
city of Flushing; and from thence was to have been translated to
Rotterdam; but his death, which happened in the year 1735, prevented it.
He never married. He was a youth of excellent parts, and of a genteel
obliging temper.
