MacLeod Society, 1968, p. 121. Served in the 1st Madras Cavalry and
became a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Madras Staff Corps. He became
Superintendent of the Vellore prison and died in 1888. He married a
daughter of Dr. Porteous, with issue.
