Was born on 30th March 1863, graduated B.A. in 1885 and B.D. in the
University of Glasgow in 1888. He was licensed by the Presbytery of
Glasgow in May 1888, and became an assistant in Govan. He was
ordained, on 28th June 1892, as assistant and successor, at Buchanan in
the Presbytery of Dunbarton, which was his only charge, and which he
demitted on 16th may 1922. Thereafter he lived at Juinary, Shandon,
where he died on 24th March 1935. He was unmarried. He was the author
of THE BEGINNINGS OF THE HOULDSWORTHS OF COLTNESS, published n
1938.
