Martin Donald... served in Moira''s Regiment, the 27th, in Spain and the
south of France, for which he received a medal and four clasps. He also
served in the 79th Cameron Highlanders, and was with the 25th Regiment
in the West Indies. After he retired from the army, he emigrated, in
1845, to Upper Canada, now Ontario, and settled at a place, which he
named DRYNOCH, near Toronto. He married Jane (who died in 1887),
youngest daughter of Henry Fry of Frybook, County Roscommon, Ireland,
with issue.
