whose service he led an adventurous and enterprising life. He returned
to Lewis and Dissipated his fortune on ill-planned ventures. He was
married to Mary, daughter of Kenneth Campbell, tacksman of Scalpay in
Harris. He had at least one son, John, who succeeded him.
