Room, Dunvegan Castle], and he and his brother, Donald, are mentioned in
1708 as being ''in'' Balmeanach [Ibid.]. Alexander died without issue
before 1724, the year in which his brother Donald, is first mentioned in
the Rent Roll [MacLeod Estate Rentals] as tacksman of Balmeanach.
