Was born on 10th November 1799, and succeeded his father as 14th of
Boreray. he married his cousin, Margaret, daughter of Major Alexander
MacLeod, 1st of the MacLeods of Dalvey, without issue. He died, in 1874,
aged seventy-five years, in North Devon.
