Entered the 59th Regiment as Ensign on 1st November 1772, and
afterwards settled in Prince of Wales Island, but, in 1796, he went to
Madras. He died before March 1801, when Letters of Administration of
his estate were granted to the attorney of his widow, Elizabeth
MacDonald, then living in Manchester. It does not appear that they had
issue.
