3. Hon. Thomas Mackenzie of Pluscardine, who had a charter to Thomas
Mackenzie, brother-german of the deceased George, Earl of Seaforth, and
to Jean Grant his wife, of the barony of Pluscardine, 25th July 1636. He
had another charter of Auchmadies in Banffshire, 18th December 1643.
Colin Mackenzie of Pluscardine was served heir, and heir male of Thomas
his father in his estates in the counties of Banff and Elgin, 6th and 13th
May 1687.
